Long Island Star Chapter 278
Welcome to the Long Island Chapter 278 web site! If you are new to STAR or if you would
like to know more about our chapter and membership, please email our Chapter President,

Our regular monthly meetings are held on the
FIRST TUESDAY of each month at 7:30 pm at the Sachem Public Library.
Riders interested in joining our chapter should arrive at 7:00 pm to
be greeted by our members.

2nd Annual BBQ & Fundraiser Ride

The LI STAR Chapter 278 officers and Ride Committee will be handling the
registration as well as all of the ride details including Road Captains and Tail Gunners.
All Riders will get a copy of the route. The ride is about 70 miles along the
Long Island Sound through many of the scenic Port Towns along the beautiful
North Shore of Long Island. There is a scheduled rest stop about half way and
the total trip should take about 2 1/2 hours getting us to the Bar-B-Q location
right around 2 - 2:30 pm.
The Chapter 278 LOS will be hosting the event and the food is provided
by all of the members of the chapter for all to enjoy. There will be raffles and
an auction for all kinds of fun stuff.
We are looking forward to making this a great fun filled annual event and hope
that many of you are able to attend. Please feel free to contact me with any
